Executive Director
Amy Buie, Executive Director, has over 20 years of experience with students who have Autism or Asperger’s Syndrome. She is the founder and Executive Director of The Center
for Autism Education. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and is recognized as a Missouri Autism Consultant. Amy has a Master's Degree in Special Education and frequently presents at workshops and conferences in the tri-state area. As a faculty member at the University of Missouri Saint Louis, Amy teaches course work in Autism Studies for the Master’s Program in Special Education. Her area of expertise is working with Functional Behavior Assessments and Reinforcement Based Strategies for Behavior Reduction.

Angie Moynihan M. Ed.
Special Education Director and Day Services Director
Angie Moynihan, Special Education Director for The Center, has a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Lindenwood University. She has completed training in Applied Behavior
Analysis as well as verbal behavior. Angie has over 9 years of experience working with students with severe and challenging behaviors. She provides on-going training to staff and parents and coordinates all related services dictated in the IEP. She also directs the Day Services Program for individuals 21 and older with special needs.

Stefanie Treadway
Associate Director
Stefanie Treadway, Associate Director, has been in the field of Special Education for over 11 years working with students with challenging behaviors. As part of The Center’s Leadership
Team, she provides training and supervision to all staff in order to support each student during implementation of IEP goals and individualized behavior plans. Stefanie manages The Center for Autism Education on a daily basis along with Amy Buie, Executive Director. Stefanie is also the Director of S.T.A.R. Club. This club is designed for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The program teaches social skills, provides community integration, as well as opportunities to build friendships and have fun.

Jamie Zimmerman
Speech-Language Pathologist
Jamie Zimmerman, Speech-Language Pathologist, has over 10 years of experience working with students who have autism or Asperger’s Syndrome. She has a Bachelor’s degree
in Communication Disorders and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Jamie has worked in many different school districts in St. Charles County as well as with Boonslick State School. She belongs to the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Missouri Speech-language Hearing Association (MSHA).

Lisa Payne, BS, OTR/L
Director of Therapy Services
Lisa Payne, Licensed Occupational Therapist, graduated from Washington University with a degree in Occupational Therapy and has over 25 years of experience. Throughout the years,
she has worked with many children with autism and sensory integration delays. She has extensive training in Sensory Integration and utilizes this approach at The Center for Autism Education. She has worked at The Center since it opened, educating staff, students, and families. She has presented Sensory Integration Workshops at local school districts, UMSL, Lindenwood University, Missouri O.T. Association, and for other community organizations.

Jessica Davis, AAS, COTA/L
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Jessica Davis, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, has over 10 years of experience working with adults and children with emotional/behavioral disorder, autism, Sensory
Processing Disorder and other developmental disabilities. She has implemented several social and life-skills groups as well as adapted P.E. She volunteers regularly in the community to provide family support and disability awareness and education.

Patricia Hamill
Physical Therapist
Patricia Hamill, Physical Therapist, graduated from Maryville University with a Degree in Science and Physical Therapy. She has worked in the school and hospital setting for
25 years. She currently works part-time at The Center for Autism Education and part-time with children with visual impairments, birth to 3yrs of age. Her experience is in working with children with autism, visual impairments, and neurological delays. She has been a part of The Center for Autism Education team for the last 5 years.

Andrea Boschert, Board Certified Assistant Analyst, has over 9 years of experience with students who have Autism. Andrea provides support to the students who attend The Center for
Autism Education, Day Services Program, and school districts in the area by assisting Amy with Functional Behavior Assessments, developing behavior support plans and training staff. She assists Amy with workshops and trainings on autism and behavior strategies. Andrea also supports the families of individuals with special needs by going into the home and providing recommendations and training.

Mandy Loyd, BS, BCaBA

Mandy Loyd, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, has been working with students on the Autism Spectrum for over 8 years. She provides on-going behavior support to the
students who attend The Center for Autism Education as well as behavior management strategies to the staff. Mandy assists Amy in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments, writing Behavior Support Plans, and attending IEP meetings. Mandy also provides behavior training during weekly orientations to new and/or potential staff members.

Patty Anderson, BS
Special Education Teacher
Patty Anderson has over 4 years of experience working with students with autism and other challenging behaviors. She is the Special Education Teacher and Program Coordinator for the Career Center at The Center for
Autism Education where she develops, coordinates and implements all related services dictated in a student’s IEP and provides training and supervision staff. Patty received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri – Columbia and worked in the engineering field for 12 years. In 2007, Patty first began working with students with autism as a paraprofessional. It was then that she realized her true passion was for working with students with special needs, in particular students with autism. In 2009, Patty began working at The Center for Autism Education. She is currently working toward her Master’s Degree in Special Education at Fontbonne University.

Katie Dreyer, BS
Special Education Teacher
Katie Dreyer, Special Education Teacher, started working at The Center for Autism Education as a substitute Behavioral Assistant. She graduated from Maryville University with a
degree in Business Administration. After working at The Center, she knew it was time for a career change. Currently, she is attending Fontbonne University obtaining her Master’s Degree in Special Education. Katie has directly worked with students on the Autistic Spectrum for 3 years. She creates functional programs for the students on her caseload to help them succeed and become independent in their daily lives. Daily, Katie implements behavior plans, reviews IEP goals, and supports her staff with modeling and demonstration.

Andrew Peck

Andrew Peck has worked at The Center for 6 years. Up until this school year Andrew has worked one on one with a student in the public school setting helping in the
transition process, While working at The Center, Andrew completed his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice at Lindenwood University. Andrew is currently working towards his masters in Special Education at Fontbonne University. Andrew is starting a new program at The Center that focuses on the high functioning autism/Asperger’s and ED students and working to transition them back to their home districts.
